Had we gone with the 13" we wouldn't have to touch up paint around it, but I also like that they aren't that noticeable and something bigger might have been too obtrusive as this is just a small rectangle between multiple rooms. It took a while to find this style of chandelier that didn't include a remote control for dimming since I wanted to connect it to a smart dimmer switch so it would integrate into the rest of our home's Lutron smart control system. Not quite as bright as expected (based on other reviews), but it'll work for my needs. I’m excited to get these going! I’m having to wait on an electrician to convert my current can light fixtures which are screw in bulbs to being able to be direct wired for these fixtures.
