Faucet is gorgeous! Its handle provides a nice contrast and all together the faucet complements my dynamic countertop. This faucet was a replacement for an older one that had lost water pressure. Issue now resolved and even better with "Power Boost " feature. Love the motion control, very responsive. Also works with Alexa. I wasn't sure that it would work given the negative reviews regarding voice activation with Alexa app but it has been working well so far. Installation was easy. I wish the faucet's swivel wasn't restricted to 100 degrees rotation. The kitchen sink is a standard double bowl and the faucet's reach positions perfectly over the smaller bowl's drain but not so over the large bowl, however I was able to rotate the base a bit to correct but it makes the faucet appear slight off center. Good thing I don't have OCD. The secure docking and retraction of the pull down hose works ok but maybe the hose could've been a little longer or the weight heavier for a more brisk retraction and docking. I got this on an open box deal so I didn't look too closely to set up etc. First, it's beautiful in the gold finish. It's solid and doesn't feel or look cheap. The sensor is on the side of the faucet which is smart (unlike the last faucet I had, that was in the front so it went off a lot) The talking Myrna, not for me. and I find that the sensor is not very sensitive, it takes a few times to get it to turn on/off. The bad- I was replacing an older battery operated faucet with sensor. I did not know that this new model was a plug in electric operation. That required installation of an outlet under my sink that I had to buddy off an outlet on the other side of my wall. Huge PIA! And it won't run manually b/c the water runs through the module box. It's done now but I wouldn't purchase this again if I had known. I also don't like that when you pull down the sprayer when the faucet is on *but water isn't running b/c I used the sensor) the water doesn't kick on like my old model. I just love my new cooktop. The design makes it really easy to clean. In terms of performance, I noticed that cook times are a little bit shorter. The gas dial has a wide range, so I can go from very low to high flame. Also having an additional burner is great. I can have multiple meals going at the same time. Overall a good quality stove, has a major issue with center burner. The burner has been replaced a minimum of 5 times. The 6th burner is in the process of failure. I purchased the LG LDTS5552S dishwasher and have experienced a persistent chemical odor since the beginning of ownership. The smell is difficult to describe precisely, but it resembles heated rubber, vinyl, petroleum products, or synthetic plastic. The odor becomes stronger as the dishwasher heats up and appears to be emitted from the lower vent area. The problem occurs even during normal operation without using the High Temp or Extra Dry settings. Over the past year I have tried numerous troubleshooting steps, including cleaning the filters repeatedly, running cycles without detergent, using dishwasher cleaning cycles, and removing additional plastic accessories from inside the machine. None of these actions resolved the issue. The dishes themselves do not retain the odor, but the heated air emitted by the dishwasher does. The smell is strong enough to travel beyond the kitchen and can sometimes be noticed on the second floor of the house. After more than a year of trying to live with this issue, I have stopped using the dishwasher altogether and returned to washing dishes by hand because I am not comfortable having my family continuously exposed to the odor. What concerns me most is that this odor appears whenever the appliance is heated, suggesting that materials inside the unit may be releasing volatile compounds into the air. I do not know whether LG has evaluated the long-term impact of breathing these emissions during routine daily use, but I believe this is a legitimate concern that deserves attention. I am disappointed because otherwise the dishwasher performs well. If LG is aware of this issue or has a solution, I would genuinely appreciate a response. It's exactly what my wife wanted, and she's happy with it. For installation, the gas line and the electrical wire have to share a very small space at the bottom in the back. Advice: Don't try to use a gas line that's longer than 36" (1m). Both a 3-prong and a 4-prong electrical wire were included.
