Bought this hood since I needed to replace my old one and I must say this thing is absolutely amazing!! Easy installation and it came in perfect condition with no damages at all, it has a motion detector for your hands so you don’t have to press any buttons which was very very cool, also it sucks up the smoke so fast and well. Definitely recommended if you need a hood for your kitchen. It has such a clean finish to it and it should go well with any kitchen. Easy to install and even easier to operate these steam generators produce a consistent flow of soft and soothing steam thanks to the cleverly designed dual tank technology while minimizing any distracting operational noises. Compact in size and design they also feature the auto drain system that aids in making maintenance easier by purging the generator of any excess water/minerals that would later contribute to issues down the line. Steamspa / SWCorp does not service their products. When something goes wrong you have to open up the unit and troubleshoot yourself or pay a contractor to do it. Mine worked for about six months then stopped producing steam. Warranty covers almost nothing. It doesn't cover "parts", so I'm not sure what it covers. Customer service offered to sell me a new one at a 20% discount or buy new heating elements and drain valve since the tank is not draining. None of this is covered under warranty. Great iron! I have one that I use at home which I love! I don’t iron much but when I need it , it’s always ready to go. I purchased one for my son in college. It has the steam option making it ready to handle the “sitting in a pile of clean unfolded clothes on the floor for a month because I’m too busy studying but I have an interview in an hour” emergencies.
