This bed was very easy to build. I built it by myself with maybe an hour a little bit more than an hour. The instructions will clear on how to use all the materials that they packed into the back of the headboard. The only thing that wasn’t clear was where to put the slats when you were adding that in but again you can use your best judgment of where to add in the screws. This bed is absolutely beautiful. It was easy to assemble. The green color definitely adds depth to the bedroom and with the right duvet it's giving cool boutique hotel vibes. I took off one star due to the backboard having a crack in it. We did not go through the trouble of sending the entire bed back as Wayfair suggested after half way assembling. I was hesitant to consider buying a bed online that I had not see in person, but ultimately I have been very pleased with this purchase. There were no direction in the box, but I was able to figure it out pretty easily. I used a drill with an allen wrench bit on it so assembly went faster.
