Because it has a high polished finish, the only concern I have it that it does shows all the water spots and needs to be constantly wiped off with a towel. I needed the high polished finish to complete the final look so I just make sure to wipe it down all the time. Maybe a brushed finish is more to your liking. The top bar has the H and C in a lighter finish to indicate the water temp direction (as some plumbers like to reverse directions as I had experienced, so maybe those letters guides them which way the hot is? LOL) It stands tall, art deco stylish as I placed it in the upper left hand corner of my vanity counter top as shown in the picture so it is out of the way on my limited counter top.
