I bought this cable tray because I enjoyed it had a method without having to drill a hole. Super great for that reason alone, particularly if you have a minimalist desk with glass like I do! The metal tray kinda appears bent which I cant tell if its like that because of shipping or because its that type of cheap metal that flexes a bit when you tighten it to something. A few things, If your tower is 17in without the tower feet, it will not fit against the L bracket. The L bracket should be adjustable to accommodate at least slight shorter towers, it only adjusts to the length of the tower. The base it sits on, should be vented or a mesh to help with air flow. Lastly, the mounting bracket should detachable to make it more manageable to actually mount it.
