More recently, I had one that would not hold water in the reservoir. I'd find water all over my countertop and on the floor the next morning. "General Francis Marion at the Battle of Eutaw Springs" by Thomas B. Welch depicts Francis Marion, known as the "Swamp Fox," leading his militia men at the Battle of Eutaw Springs (September 8, 1781), one of the last major battles of the American Revolution in the Southern theater. His contributions were vital to the American forces under General Nathanael Greene in South Carolina. Marion led a brigade of South Carolina militia, which was part of the advance line of Greene’s forces. His men, along with other militia units, opened the battle by engaging the British pickets. Marion’s militia, alongside Brigadier General Andrew Pickens' troops, initially clashed with the British under Colonel Alexander Stewart. The militia fought well but eventually fell back as planned, allowing Greene’s Continental Army regulars to move forward and continue the attack. Though the battle ended with neither side claiming a decisive victory, it weakened British control in South Carolina. The British forces at Eutaw Springs suffered heavy casualties and were forced to retreat to Charleston, effectively losing their hold on the state. Marion continued leading guerrilla operations against British outposts until the war’s end.

We ordered this framed print for our dining room and waited in anticipation for it's arrival. 3 1/2 weeks later the package arrived and upon opening and inspecting the frame, (very cheap looking in person and much glossier than the photo#, we immediately noticed gaps in all the frame corner joints. Two of which are at least an 1/8 inch separation. #See attached photos). I must say that we really like the "print" and would be "very pleased" IF it had come in a half decent frame.
