It's hard to find a replacement for a gas downdraft cooktop, but this one is great! Burners are stronger than previous cooktop (not GE). Downdraft works much better, doesn't pull flames from burners. Before I ordered this item, I asked customer service if it would fit my pull out trash can. Their answer was "yes it will fit". Well, it was the wrong mounting kit.
