An attractive sink at a good price. This is a fireclay sink, which means it is fired at a lower temperature than a porcelain sink, but at a higher temperature than a ceramic sink. Higher temps increase hardness and durability. This becomes apparent as this sink will stain if left soiled overnight, unlike a porcelain sink which you can rinse and wipe clean. It is not a big deal as it does come clean with some bleach cleaner and a sponge. I am happy overall. Note: I bought a sturdy stainless steel sink grid, not included, to protect the bottom from nicks and scratches (~$50), which I recommend. Can be used as a trivet or a cooling rack as well.. It's hard to find a replacement for a gas downdraft cooktop, but this one is great! Burners are stronger than previous cooktop (not GE). Downdraft works much better, doesn't pull flames from burners. The biggest issue is the freezer. It keeps acting up and doesn’t always hold a consistent temperature. I’ve had items that should be fully frozen end up partially thawed, which is frustrating—especially for something this expensive. Another downside is the exterior quality. While the design is beautiful, it dents way too easily. Even small bumps leave noticeable marks, which takes away from the premium look pretty quickly. There are definitely things to like—the storage space is great, and the layout is very convenient—but for the price, I expected much better reliability and durability.
