Smaller than what I was expecting but it’s perfect! Our son is 13 months old and his toys are adding up so we finally decided to get him a toy chest. He loves it so much and now tries to climb all over it. The lid is strong so he can’t get into it unless we open it for him which is nice. The arm inside the holds the lid is also nice because it keeps the lid from closing. You have to close the lid yourself which means no pinched hands or fingers. The bench is the perfect size for my son to sit on with his feet dangling a little. This allows for plenty of time for him to grow with it. The box and all the parts are very sturdy and it was easy to put together. I believe it took me about 10 minutes altogether to put the chest together and that’s without an electric hand tool.
