I orderd my dryer from the LG web site. I was anxious because I wasnt sure how smooth it would go. As it turned out- evrything went well, even when I needed to change the delivery and installation date. Also, I researched and learned that I got a better price ordering directly from LG. I had a complicated install with it being a stacked unit and installed in a smaller, yet adaquate laundry closet. The installers were excellent and gained my full confidence. This thing is heavy duty, had some installation issues as the bolt pattern was a little different than the unit i replaced. The instructions don't mention what all the hardware is for but I recommend getting an extra long screw extension and some screws with washer built in. The angle brackets they included for what i assume is a cabinetless setup came in handy to hold it up while I got the top screws in. Its quite heavy compared to old unit needed to reinforce cabinet to hold the weight. Also cut off the plug to do a direct wire install. Performance is very good so far and not very loud. The only think I am not crazy about is the bright halogen lights, they should be further back so it illuminates whole stove more than your eyes. Overall this is a solid unit in its price range and I can finally put battery back in my smoke detector. Working great. I really like the dust collector inside. I'm used to having a thin vent to pull out, but this is a compartment you pull out and open up. The dust is inside and easy to pull out. I highly recommend it for anyone with a pet that sheds on blankets.
