We used these on our back patio and added faux shrubbery to add some greenery. These are metal and VERY sturdy. You could even put bricks or rocks in the base if you live in a windy spot. After laying this out inside to put it together, I ended up moving it all to my deck where it will be in the long run. I was not expecting for it to be this nice and this dirty. I really like that. The material is not super shiny and it's not flimsy like some of the other metal raised bed planters. This will be able to create a nice bit of separation on my deck from one part to another and will hold a decent sized climber. We get a lot of wind where we are and I am thrilled that this will not get blown over! I can't wait to plant it up as soon as I get dirt. I have a pink thornless climbing rose that will be beautiful in it!!! It also matches our outdoor lighting so that's an unexpected bonus.
