I picked these stone veneers as they were neutral colored. I went back and painted a light white over the veneers and sponged the paint in. Added a wood frame and indirect lighting. Love the wall and am so happy with the overall look. I ordered 16 veneers in all so four packages. I laid them all out on the floor first to get a pattern that flowed. The veneers don’t all lay flat so I used a wood frame behind them and attached them to the frame with Brad nails. Easy to attach to frame and with the nails and you can pull them off and adjust if need be. Very easy to work with. I even had to cut 5” off the bottom row and super easy to cut with jigsaw. This artificial rock was the perfect size for covering the 30” riser on my septic tank. It looks really good sitting in the yard, and it will be easy to move for mowing, especially since we don’t plan to stake it down unless we have to. If you look directly down on them, the corners look artificial where the stakes are designed to go, but from the side, they are hidden by the grass.
