I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. Bought two of these as a Frankenstein solution to make another brand of single hole faucet (that came without any cover plates) work with my pre-drilled 3-hole counter tops. The cover looks pretty good with the modern style chrome faucet it was paired with and it does a good job being a cover for the most part.... For me, the lack of attachment mechanism cost it one star. It doesn't have any way of securing the sides to the counter so when the faucet is tightened down it causes the ends to bow up about 1/8th of an inch on each side.
