The vent cover arrived quickly and in good condition. I like the modern, clean style and the screws are hidden. The installation instructions are clear and remind you multiple times to measure the opening and purchase the cover appropriate for the space. There is no wheel or mechanism to open and close the baffles. You use your fingers or a screwdriver which could be a pain if you are using it in a ceiling or other difficult to access area. To measure your size correctly, remove the existing vent cover and measure the size of the duct. The duct opening size is what should be ordered. The Ribbon grille is a resin (polyurethane) decorative vent cover that is light in weight yet sturdy and strong. Grilles are unfinished and ready for you to primer and paint to achieve the perfect color for your setting. Each grille is made using a casting process that allows for a three-dimensional look. Grilles will not rust and are not prone to corrosion which makes them excellent for high-humidity areas and dry areas alike. Ribbon grilles are flat on the back and have no inserts. Grilles should not be used on the floor and are only for wall and ceiling applications for central air conditioning and heating systems. Due to the nature of the curing process, grilles can vary very slightly in size so please take the measurements as an approximate size. All grilles should be installed using the provided screws to ensure a safe application. Please note, that these grilles are intended to be primed/painted and will come in an off-white beige color.

This is a wall register and as described. The metal is a little flimsy to take that into consideration with drilled it in. It looks nice and new and makes the other register in the room look so dirty, so will have to replace that too!
