So far so good after putting this together I would say it took maybe an hour with a partner. It was very easy to put together. All the parts were in the box except for one screw or two were missing so we definitely should get better with making sure that everything is in the also it is very lightweight in terms of lifting, but very sturdy and strong when I first saw this piece online I automatically assumed that it would not have the physical capacity to hold a lot of stuff just because things that I have purchased in the past from Wayfair have been not the strongest material in terms of furniture, such as dressers or disc, etc. however, this is a wonderful piece. Handsome cabinet at a good price, and fairly easy to assemble. One caveat, I followed the instructions exactly, but the interior shelves are finished on one edge and not the other. I ended up putting it together with the unfinished edge out. Since you pre assemble the pieces it's not apparent until the last step when you do the last assembly steps. Our TV cabinet arrived quickly and was packaged very securely. It comes in two boxes and it is very heavy, so you might need two people to carry it in. The instructions were good and all the pieces were there, which isn't always the case, so very happy with that. It is not an easy assembly, but there are moving parts and a lot of smaller pieces, so that's not a surprise. At one point we needed two people to stabilize a section while tightening some screws, but for the most part, it's a one person job taking maybe 3-4 hours if you're not experienced. The look is nice. We got the light oak color and it's a little lighter than I expected, but looks good. The most important part is that it works perfectly. We haven't installed the TV yet, but the remote works and it slides up and down effortlessly. The only slight minus is that the remote has no instructions or directions. We figured out the up and down which is the most important thing, but there are buttons and illuminated numbers and we have no idea what they do. All in all, very pleased.. Kirk. ID. Sun Mar 22 2026
