[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our last dishwasher was also a Bosch, installed over 15 years ago. I was shocked (though I obviously shouldn't have been) to see that the water and electrical hookups had moved completely, making the install much more complicated for me. On the other hand, the newer leveling procedure is much nicer. Of course, we're still just getting used to it, but I fully expect this new Benchmark version to last at least as long as the old "800" model did, and be just as easy to live with. (Full disclosure, the old one would still be running fine if "someone" hadn't taken a tumble on the open door!) So far, my only quibble (and it's a large one) is that the Delay Start button has been moved to ONLY the app and is no longer on the control panel. At least let it be part of your Favorites settings! This microwave has quickly become one of my favorite appliance purchases. The size is perfect—large enough to handle everyday needs, but still sleek enough to fit seamlessly into my kitchen island. What makes it stand out most is the design. The black stainless steel paired with the champagne bronze accents feels luxurious and unique. It coordinates beautifully with the rest of my kitchen suite: the ZLINE refrigerator in black and bronze, my 48” Thor by Gordon Ramsay range, and the Thor dishwasher. Even though the appliances are from slightly different brands, the gold fixtures tie everything together in a cohesive, high-end look. I love that ZLINE included a black handle option in case I ever want to swap out the champagne bronze, although I honestly don’t see myself doing that since the brushed gold look is stunning. Installation was straightforward—it only required an outlet behind it, and I chose not to use a GFI outlet since the microwave is in my island without a sink nearby. The main reason I selected this model is because it doubles as a convection oven. It’s incredibly convenient to have a second oven in the kitchen for holidays or entertaining. The broil feature works well for crisping food, though I do wish there was an air fry setting. Preheating takes about 15 minutes, which I find a little slow, but the cooking results are excellent. It doesn’t have the push-button drawer feature some microwaves include, but that’s one less part to break down the road. Smaller than I wanted it will not hold the towels side by side. If your plug is behind the rack there is not enough room for the towels to hang and its a fight to get them on the rack. Also the rack does not heat as well the only area that heats is where the towel is laying across the bar not just touching it.
