I was originally just looking for a small gazebo to enjoy the summer, but my wife happened to stumble upon this 12x20 monster. The price was right, so I figured, why not go big? It arrived on a truck, perfectly packed without scratch. Three of us started the assembly right after brunch and worked straight through the evening. We were finally able to sit back and relax. Overall, I am pleased. I appreciate the thin plastic coating on the brown frame pieces, but prepare to allow extra time to peel it all off. The cover is similar to a medium weight shower curtain liner. It held up well during our first rain, but it is not fair for me to assess its durability long run. We could not figure how to attach the smaller midsection supports for the brown frame without putting them on the outside. This leaves bare silver metal strips showing on the outside, we don't mind the look, for added sturdiness. Also, this may not keep my critters out without some sort of additional piece of screening. I want to open it most of the day in to get moving air inside, but that leads to the possibility of critters. Last, I put a planter in to keep my smaller plants from getting shaded by the frame. it may not be an issue for most, but it is for my lettuce.
