I was so excited about these, but they are not the reality I was hoping for. Many reasons made them disappointing. 1) They are hard to cut. 2) The bubbles are so deep that I have big gapping holes where the outlet and vent are. 3) It says you can get deep pieces for the outlet covers, but the spaces vary from 0 to 6”, so a box doesn’t help. 4) It says ready to paint or stain, but with what kind of paint we can not figure out. We even brought them to a paint store and they basically laughed at me when I said they were paintable. They sugggested a $30 quart bond to be painted on first, then a paint over that. This looks really cool, I paid the extra to get the liner/backing for the install to get it super smooth & seamless as possible. The only issue was the size said 13' L x 110" W which is vert confusing and incorrect. It should have said 13' W as I expected that to be the length ie "H" Height which it was actually the width and now I have to try to match the paint for the extra almost 3 feet of my 12' high wall. I will be putting my bed inside the "tunnel" so to camaflage the paint mis-match. But it definitely makes a statement especially with the 2 side walls painted black. The print was good quality.. They were awful. The cannot be painted when you try to apply them to a wall the move fall off. Couldn’t use any of them.. Jill. Waukee, IA. Sun Apr 26 2026

If you're intimidated by wood crown, try foam! I'm actually very impressed with how real it looks. Installing them on our laundry cabinets was a breeze. We used a simple handsaw to cut miters. Glued it onto the cabinet, caulked some seams, and wa-la! Before painting, we did a quick sand and then two coats of paint. One thing about the foam I really like is once it's painted it looks smooth without any brush strokes -- looks factory painted just like the cabinets.
