I can’t say enough about this dehumidifier. It’s extremely well made. It performs better than expected and has replaced two 70 pint dehumidifiers in a very humid indoor space. It holds humidity levels to our desired humidity range of below 50 without issue. The blower is powerful and helps to move air around the space it is in. The gravity drain is easy to connect the provided hose and clamp to as well. There is also a washable and reusable air filter on the intake side. Our very small kitchen never had room for a dishwasher. UNTIL Now! This 18" is perfect for our kitchen and the two of us. Does a very good job of washing although I rinse all dishes before placing them in the machine. Its not a garbage disposal and I want it to last forever. I usually use the Rapid Wash setting which is a 1 hour wash/rinse/dry. I remember someone saying this machine is loud. It is not as loud as my toaster.
