First I love this light, the look, the size- perfect for what I wanted. HOWEVER, beware of the description. I saw linen and my brain did not see burlap. I have attached pictures, I am sure there are variances, but I wanted to honestly share my experience. Mine is BURLAP- it is "fuzzy", "hairy "and it looks like burlap, not linen at all. I have tried everything I can think of to remove the "fuzz", it is here to stay. Truth is, it's up and it's not coming down, so I will learn to live with it. Unfortunately, I put it at large windows, so the "fuzz" is very noticeable, that's how I really saw how much it was. In addition, you can clearly see the metal pins on bottom (see pic) - we are just going to bend them back up under the light with pliers. Overall. I have been looking for a dining room light that felt right for my craftsman home for some time, without being the typical craftsman design. This light ticked all the boxes. It’s simplistic, rustic and has that hand crafted look. I feel the price is very good and the quality of construction is excellent. I’m so happy with this purchase. It was tricky to install, and I have to admit that I almost called an electrician because of the size of it.
