I love this door. We paid 600 for installation. We were a little disappointed because I thought the glass would let in a little light. Our previous door bought on my light but no privacy. The door has two locks one automatically locks. The other is locked by a key. If you are looking for an aesthetically pleasing door to update your home buy it. ....Update this door is steel so it expand and contracts according to the weather. It cold now so it's hard to put the key in the door and the automatic lock does not lock, so you have to use your key to make sure it locks. There is also a space where cold come to the house. We totally love the new hallway doors! They have replaced 1980s louver doors and make the entry now feel so contemporary and up-to-date. Yes, we relied on our local contractor to install them, as they needed to be trimmed to fit the existing height requirement. The cost of the doors and labor together were well-worth it, though -- our contractor is sending a picture of the doors to other clients, as they are sure to be a popular replacement in our condo community. :). This door is absolutely gorgeous! This picture translates as a bit lighter than the actual color which is more a dark walnut with a hint of redwood. The wood and windows are very high quality. It did not come with the lock hole, but no problem there. It even came with markers to fill in any holes or hide imperfections. Just screw the 3 hinges on, place the three peices of hardware in the 3 holes, mount the top track, place the bottom against the jamb, and pop the door into place. I was done in 15 minutes.
