I've looked for a sautee pan for a very long time. They're more common in Middle Eastern cooking and I just couldn't find the right stuff. While this braiser pan isn't officially a satuee pan, it does the work beautifully. The food comes out cooked evenly and I can use my metal utensils with no fear. Wow! I bought these because we recently moved to a house with a glass top electric stove and my old pots and pans said not to use on glass top electric or induction. My last set was a cheap set - also from Wayfair but since we just bought our first home I wanted a good, quality set that will last.
