Based on the reviews, we knew that the assembly instructions would be lacking for quality, so we went into this with an open mind. The box that the vanity shipped in was pretty beat up when we received it, and there was some minor damage where the plywood un-laminated in one inside area. We were able to fix this with wood glue. We also used the wood glue in all of the joints to shore it up. It was missing pilot holes for some of the screws, but the wood is so soft that we had no problem with the screws going in. That being said, the wood is sturdy plywood, and the finish (blue) on the outside is nice and smooth. One complaint that we had is that the toe kick is longer than the width of the vanity, and it's long edges are unfinished, so they stick out a little bit. I'm sure no one will notice but it irked us a little. Also we tried to adjust the alignment of the drawers and we were not successful in getting the drawers where we wanted them. It took my husband and I about one hour to assemble this vanity, using glue, and power tools. We're very happy overall with how it looks and can't wait to put it in our new guest bath!. Mary. IL. Came quickley , packaged well, no damage!! I purchaed the 20" for a small powder room so it came assembled. The color goes great with wy wood floor which was a big plus!! It is pretty strudy and well built. We had to cut out part of the top shelf to go around the pumbing of a new faucet. But it stilll gives me a littl room on ea side for storage of toiletries. Fits perfect for the small space. We refinished the wood molding trim and had to trim a few pieces down to install and anchor vanity to the wall. Very happy with over all look and quality.. Jo. This is so beautiful, exceed my expectation. I was a little worried that there may be dent or chip but it didn't have either. It looks expensive, contemporary and very practical. I thought it is so much smaller than what I had I will be losing a lot of storage but no, the two big drawers from the bottom are large enough to put a lot of toileteries. BUT, THE ONLY DRAW BACK --- the mirror does NOT come with mounting bracket which is totally STUPID! So be aware and be warned, you need to find it on your own, to make use they fit before you are ready to hang the mirror up. Again, that's VERY stupid and inconvenient to the customer.
