The pictures can't compare to the in-person true beauty of these dishes! They are just stunning! I bought these to mix/match with the Vancasso Bonita, solid color plates, also by Vancasso. And I am very pleased. The colors just pop out with the combination. I took pics on my kitchen island and then removed the background to share how pretty they are. Hubby saw them and said "I guess these are the dishes we aren't allowed to eat from?" LOL - he couldn't believe these were our new everyday, bc they are so beautiful!! These plates are beautiful and quite cheery. I ordered the 24 piece set that has a six place settings with four pieces each. The pieces include plates of two sizes and bowls of two sizes (typical cereal shape and a broader, shallow pasta shape). There are six different colored motifs for a festive mix and match. This is really great set of dishes. I love the design and colors of them. I have the beige colored ones but they are definitely more than just beige. They have a great combination of coloring going throughout them. There’s a light beige, darker tan color and even some blue coloring. The large dinner plates have the more blue in them and they are a real cool speckled like design and are so pretty and I. Think that’s what makes this set so nice. They aren’t all the same with the same exact coloring and design on each one. They really look very pretty altogether. My favorite part of them is how the plates are like flat, but have a neat edging that rounds up. It also makes them stack real nice too. It’s a great service for four and it really looks very nice. These would even be great for single men too because the colors together are great earth tone colors and would go so nicely with any decor style you have. They even have them in several other color choices as well. I think the quality of them is very good and they even have a nice glazed shiny look to them. I got this 6 pack of dinner plates so that I could check out the colors, design and just get a feel for the quality, BEFORE I commit to purchasing the set. I am happy to report that they are gorgeous!! They have a nice weight, colors are vibrant and shiny. The swirled design really looks nice. My plan is to use these plates as part of a mix/match with another set, also from Vancassa - which is the Bohemian pattern! I plan to get a few salad plates & cereal bowls from the Bonita, as well. These mugs definitely give coffee house vibes although their capacity is like 8oz instead of 12oz like most coffee cups I have purchased. The color is a light cloud blue. OMG BEAUTIFUL came in perfect timing since I just made pasta yesterday. these came very well packed lots of foam surrounding them and cushioning in between each separate bowl. I dont think Ive seen this beautiful of a print in quite a while and I love that the print continues on The whole bowl not just the inside the outside also. it has the slightest pedestal type bottom but its flat but the way they left a little white on the bottom makes it look like a pedestal. these are substantial size bowls theyre 8 and 12 in diameter and they are deep. I believe these are microwave oven and oven safe and they are dishwasher safe. these would not only be for pasta you could have a nice big bowl of soup or chili, you could have a nice salad in there, you could use this as a dipping bowl full of hummus, the only restrictions are your imagination. yes these are definitely gorgeous bowls you better grab your six of these.
