this is advertised as a prehung door and it is not. it comes in 3 boxes, one with the door in it, one with the frame in it(in 3 parts), and one with the hinges and door knob. there is no door know hole in the door, there is no notches where the hinges go in either the frame or the door, everything has to be cut out or drilled out. spend the extra money and buy one that is already put together as a real pre hung door.. Really loved this door! Easy to set up and put together. This is the 36" wide x 84" tall door. Had some pretty good weight to it and was more heavy duty than I thought ( in a good way). Very smooth on the track and doesn't stick at all. We personally added more to it by staining a piece of pine and putting that up between the wall and the track to match the shelving in our room. So the board is not necessary, just was for aesthetics. Love the glass on the door so it allows the light to come through when it is shut and keeps the rooms bright vs being a solid door. These doors are very pretty! In all honesty, it took me months to get them fully installed. The directions were minimal to say the least, but I did find my way. The Prehung doors took quite a bit to get them up and fitted and screwed in. But they're in and they look good. The prehung part is not a solid frame, but pieces that have to be assembled, screwed together and mounted. We got it done and did 3 doors. It's nice having doors when company comes.
