Arrived in two different shipments. The last box to arrive had multiple small areas chipped of paintlaminate. It was mostly on the corners on the fireplace surround parts. Im painting this black so the damage is fine for me, but if I were keeping it as is I would be requesting a new box with the fireplace surround parts. Great TV stands!! They are a very nice quality and heavy/sturdy! We love these TV stands so much so they still got 5 stars, however, the colors for the fireplace are not quite correct. They have the solid blue color and the solid orange color, but there is no purple and blue like the picture online showed (which is what we really wanted). The wood is a pink color (or maybe a rose color?) With blue flames. Still very pretty and cool, but we were really looking forward to the blue with purple. We still love the TV stand. This TV stand is beautiful once assembled. Our TV is 80 inches, so you can see how it looks under a larger TV. There are many pieces, so I recommend hiring someone to assemble it. A professional built ours in about 45 minutes, which saved a lot of time and frustration. The wood quality feels a bit cheap for the price and looks somewhat flimsy when first taken out of the box. However, once assembled it looks great and fits nicely in the space. Overall, I’m happy with how it looks. It’s a stylish piece, just not the highest quality material for the price.. Anonymous. Set aside a full morning or afternoon to assemble properly. There are lots of steps and nuances to putting this cabinet together. When I read some folks took 6 hours to assemble, I thought it was because they did not have a clue how to assemble something like this. I was wrong. A very skilled person assembled ours and I would say it took about the same. But taking your time makes it look so much nicer. We got the distressed wood one, which at the time was more expensive, but the look was what I was going for. The piece looks beautiful, and I love the options of just lights, lights and heat, and already used the timer feature. Only downside we did not see the large dent (must have happened in transit) in the top edge until it was all glued and assembled!!!
