This was simple to install. They try to make it easy to install by yourself but I required help lifting this up the ladder from my husband. I had difficulty placing all the items in screw it all up so you have to find the perfect positioning to make it work. We really like that it comes with a remote. We also had to change out our dimmer to a regular switch because it’s messes with light and makes it flicker but that’s what the remote is for. One thing I’m not so sure about is the LED. I’m having someone install this and they haven’t gotten to it yet. It’s a nice size fan for a bedroom which is where we will be using it. The light (pictured in the middle) is simple but “clean” looking. The fan blades have 2 colors and I love the timer on the remote! Overall this is a great fan, the light is bright but can be adjusted to be dimmer. The fan has different speeds for whatever your needs may be. My only “issue” if you can call it that, is I wish I was to not use the extender to attach it to the ceilings and just the part the carabiner is attached to, the room we used it in has shorter ceilings so tall people might have an issue.. I'm really enjoying this so far. I've got it working with SmartThings which means it's working (okay) with Google Home. All five of my RF fans work with this device. I would say signal is sent to those devices correctly 95% of the time. I have found that if I accidentally misclick, it is better if I count to 10 before making the correct choice. Is it perfect? No. But it is extremely helpful. These are things I was ready for, but some other buyers might not be ready for. This is an RF controlling device. While it makes some devices a little easier to use it does not make those devices "smart". If you have someone who likes to use the remotes a lot, the app will show incorrect settings for those devices that have changed with the remote. This does not bug me, but for someone who is not ready for that, make sure you understand what this device is first. I highly recommend Bond. This is an affordable way to use what you already have. Less devices in the landfill for replacements, and a pretty great way to control my devices from my phone.
