I finally broke down and invested in a better vacuum. This thing is amazing! Mostly hard flooring and its highest setting picks up everything- doesn’t blow it around. Lower settings handle even my flat washable rugs and don’t suck them up. The real test? This dryer is awesome. It seems like it takes longer than a normal dryer, but it really doesn't. We don't have to run it 3 times to dry towels. It can fit a lot of towels. It can dry our king size comforter with ease. It uses about 1/4 the power of our old normal dryer. It also is really good at removing pet hair from clothes. I love this little machine. Picks up real well one button press and you have your hand vac. Keep in mind this is not a full size vacuum cleaner it is an auto broom. The cup is small but powerful. Nice piece, but it's really more of an institutional item and assumes that you are replacing an existing urinal or have framing in place to accommodate an install. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports.
