This is a beautiful, heavy, well-made piece. The shape is so elegant and pleasing to look at that I got two. The drawer opens easily and though it is not very tall, it holds the necessities. My only complaint is that the glossy finish on the table top shows dust like crazy so I keep a microfiber cloth in the drawer. It also scratches pretty easily so be careful to back any heavy items with felt, keep it dusted, and do not slide any objects across it. The scratches are barely visible except in bright light, but it seems the finish should be more durable. I will probably get a piece of glass to protect them. Bought it for my daughter,who is a fan of Nathan Fillion,who does the voice of Johnny Worthington, it's very life -like and stands 5ft 5 -1/2" tall. Both the Johnny Stand- Up and the full length,accompaning support/ stand are contructed of pretty sturdy corrugated card board. The Support Stand has (2) Horizontal push -thru fastener.Because the stand-up is so tall,eventually the stand buckled. We put Johnny on the bedroom wall. Johnny looks very charming and very smarmy,just like the animated character. The eyes even follow you, It makes you smile. Pros: Very life like. True character look and colouring.
