Extremely easy to install and maintain (follow specific instructions for this product). 2-part anti-acid epoxy mortar. Part A consists of a mixture of epoxy resin, fine-grain siliceous aggregates, pigments and specific organic additives. Component B consists of an innovative organic catalyst. The 2 parts, once mixed together at room temperature will have a full 60 minutes of application and cleaning time, and forms a creamy mixture with excellent smoothness, also for no-drip vertical application. The grout is industrial grade performance even when subjected to enzymatic cleaners and other harsh environments. When applying grout to tile we recommend using The Tile Doctor Green Epoxy Float. This tile is beautiful, with a nice sheen and enough irregularity to catch the light and make it look expensive. However, 2/3 of the boxes I ordered came with broken tiles. I think broken tiles are more likely with this format because the grooves create weaknesses in the 14x14 sheets. Besides the breakage, the tile was easy to work with and regular enough that all the groves lined up without too much effort. I used it for my kitchen backsplash and am really pleased with the look. The Tile Life Tahitian Pearl Glass Mosaic Tile comes in Calacatta Gold, Statuario Silver and White. This glass, satin, irregular, grid, mesh-backed, rectified, straight-edge tile is impervious and waterproof. The box comes with 10 pieces which equal 9.7 sq ft of coverage. The sheet weighs 294 lbs and has a recommended grout joint of 1/16 inches. The overall thickness is 0.625 inches. PEI 0 - Wall use only. Please note that a sample of this product is a partial piece that is manually cut with a machine from the full-size tile. That is done so that customers can analyze the product and its respective variations in different design types. Shipping and delivery of a sample are much faster than a case or sheet order, especially if the order is Less than Load Freight (LTL).
