I LOVE this sink. It's beautifully crafted, the water runs toward the drain, and it includes a very nice sink grid (sink grids can get very pricey and if they are not included, it's hard to find one that fits perfectly that doesn't cost a small fortune). I have an InSinkerator, so did not need the included drain cover and basket - but they look MUCH better than the InSinkerator drain ;). Note, the sink is very heavy. While inexpensive sinks look nice coming out of the box (resulting in glowing reviews), eventually their "value engineering" will catch up with them. Your kitchen is too important to cut corners, and nothing is used more than your sink. Make a sound investment with a product that has addressed glaze longevity. Fossil Blu fireclay sinks are comprised of solid genuine crystalline-silica fireclay. When paired with a silica-based glaze and fired at 2200 degrees, the two silicas fuse together, creating a new quartz-like material. As opposed to inferior ceramic sinks, which are usually hollow core, fired at lower temperatures, and exhibit little fusing, ours is far superior and engineered to remove even the possibility of hairline cracks/crazing. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for, and investment in Fossil Blu is worth every penny.

The bone white color looks clean and sophisticated, and after installing it in the kitchen, the whole space looks brighter and warmer. Its deep enough that washing pots and pans doesnt cause water to splash everywhere, and large cookware fits easily. The included wooden cutting board and roll-up drying rack are very practical, making it convenient for preparing ingredients, draining vegetables, and placing utensils, transforming the sink area into a complete workstation. The material feels thick and solid, not flimsy, and its easy to clean - a quick wipe is all it takes, and it doesnt easily accumulate grease. The double-sided design is also a thoughtful touch, allowing you to choose between a smooth or grooved surface to match your kitchen style. However, its not without its flaws. For example, the sink itself is quite heavy, requiring two people to lift it during installation, and the countertop dimensions must be measured beforehand. Also, because its a large single sink, if you dont control the water flow properly, water can accumulate at the bottom after washing dishes, requiring a slight adjustment to the drain position for smoother drainage. Overall, Im very satisfied with this farmhouse sink in terms of both appearance and practicality.
