Brushed satin finish tend to hide water spots, scratches and helps resist corrosion and rust. The drain on this model is close to the wall of the sink and it comes with basket strainer and drain cover to help protect from blockage and other items falling into the drain. The power on the Fotile range hood is excellent. For most cooking, I stay on the first 2 out of 3 fan settings. For high smoke activities such as seasoning a wok or searing steak, the 3rd settings is more than enough to suck up all the fumes. The fan speeds are all pretty quiet.
