I've lived in this home for almost 8 years. The water about twice a year seems to be "shocked" with chlorine. Now my water test according to the state report is some of the cleaner in the state of NC, but the taste is horrible. The TDS tested at 43 and the chlorine was almost as high as pool water level. So my fiance and myself, after much research, decided on ispring. Cost, customer reviews, install and how it tailored to our issues were why we chose it. Chlorine was drying out our skin, causing itching, and damaging our hair and probably damaging our mitochondria if I had guess. Immediately after I got the whole house system installed and the system purged it was night and day. We've notice more energy, less stomach issues, our hair is easily brushed/combed. We can cook and bathe with the same tap water. I also added the RCC7AK for reverse osmosis to drink. The reverse osmosis water IS BETTER THAN ANY ALKALINE BOTTLED YOU CAN BUY!. Jamie. Pulls work great. We had a unique need for door handles for two different doors in a recent remodel. Both doors were ball catch closure with the door style too narrow for a dummy door knob set. We already had the pull on the kitchen cabinets and decided to use the larger 160mm for the adjacent pantry doors. The look is uniform and ties together the two areas. We also had a narrow linen closet with the same ball catch closure and decided to use it there as well to tie in with the adjacent cabinetry. Again, it looks good for this non traditional application. We did replace the enclosed screw with a longer (3”) #8-32 machine screw to accommodate the thicker door dimension and added a small #8 zinc washer on the screw head to provide more bite for the handle opening the door..
