The lamp is pretty overall, but the pigments stained glass is a far cry from the lamps you would find made 20-30 years ago. The pigments and coloring is very opaque, and the appearance is comparatively dull and non-uniform to that of a more traditional fixture. Since then however it's been a joy to own. I love looking at it everyday and it may be my favorite lamp in the house. Bad first impression, but I'm truly glad to have it. Perigold dealt with the initial problem quickly and professionally. I can't comment on whether it's truly moss-colored as I have trouble with colors, but it's certainly beautiful.. David. This Tiffany-style table lamp uses a combination of rippled and striated glass in its shade, while also showcasing 201 pieces of handcrafted glass and 30 pieces of glowing cabochons. Absolutely gorgeous! I’m really pleased with this lamp. It arrived within a few days of ordering and was extremely well packed. There is a small bit of assembly that is easily done, however, I did have a problem screwing the piece into the base. Even though it was tightened down completely it was still a bit wobbly because the metal was not flat. I resolved the situation by using a black rubber washer. I was able to snug it up and you can’t notice the rubber washer. The teal blue color is absolutely beautiful. Truly I would have given this lamp 5 stars except for the minor issue I described.
