The lamp is pretty overall, but the pigments stained glass is a far cry from the lamps you would find made 20-30 years ago. The pigments and coloring is very opaque, and the appearance is comparatively dull and non-uniform to that of a more traditional fixture. Absolutely gorgeous! I’m really pleased with this lamp. It arrived within a few days of ordering and was extremely well packed. There is a small bit of assembly that is easily done, however, I did have a problem screwing the piece into the base. Even though it was tightened down completely it was still a bit wobbly because the metal was not flat. I resolved the situation by using a black rubber washer. I was able to snug it up and you can’t notice the rubber washer. The teal blue color is absolutely beautiful. Truly I would have given this lamp 5 stars except for the minor issue I described.
