This is absolutely beautiful and highly recommend it if you were looking for a short table lamp. The design is pleasing as are the colors. It is a quality piece. It’s nice that the on off switch is on the cable and not the light socket. My only reservation is that the design of the lamp base is not illuminated. Perfect for my night stand. It took a while to figure out the 3 way switch. No instructions were included. You have to flip the toggle switch once and it is on low. Turn it off then back on and it is medium. Off and on again and it is the brightest setting. A little odd but works. i’m so glad i spotted this marbled take on a classic shape — it adds so much character to a neglected corner. the bulb that came with the lamp wasn’t anything special, and it was WAY too bright for an ambient light, so i swapped it out for a 2.5w amber LED. combined with the warm marbling of the glass, the effect is like a soothing candle. the switch is on the cord, a couple feet from the lamp, so i had to figure out how to hide that length while leaving the switch accessible. would def purchase again. would be cute at a bedside, too, as a matching lil pair.. The lamp is pretty cute. It has a real glass shade, and was packaged well. I was really looking forward to the led light bulb. However, it did not work. Also it said it came with 3 and I only received 1, and again it didn't work. I'm also not sure how you would change the colors since there was no remote? Thankfully, a regular bulb fits in it but you will need a small one, because the height of the bulb needs to be short. It's really cute.
