Wow. Our contractor said he had never seen anything like it. It's super heavy and you can feel it's solid. My only hesitation was that the spout for tub filler is going to be a lot higher than usual, but I think it'll work. I bought two colors, the Unlacquered Satin Brass and the Matte Nickel. Both are stunning. Satin brass as a very subtle shine, but maybe a bit too rose gold-like for our bathroom. The Nickel is a lot more transitional and neutral, think I'll end up keeping it.. The effortless enjoyment of Gerber® Plumbing Fixtures floor mount tub fillers begins with the simple installation of the rough-in valve. The rough-in valve can be installed in any direction as long as the bathtub center line is aligned with one of the six screws on the plaster guard. The plaster guard has a flat top for easy leveling in installation to ensure the trim will be standing straight after installation. A test cap and plugs are included for pressure testing the connection between the rough-in valve and water supply lines.
