So bright and vivid! I got this tile in royal blue after searching high and low for a bright blue tile. I had seen a picture somewhere of a bathroom which I used as inspo. This tile is beautiful, with a nice sheen and enough irregularity to catch the light and make it look expensive. However, 2/3 of the boxes I ordered came with broken tiles. I think broken tiles are more likely with this format because the grooves create weaknesses in the 14x14 sheets. Besides the breakage, the tile was easy to work with and regular enough that all the groves lined up without too much effort. I used it for my kitchen backsplash and am really pleased with the look. We purchased the Catch 3" x 12" subway tile in Ice with a matte finish. For a crisp, clean look, we chose to extend the tile out from the shower and across an entire wall. It does double-duty as a backsplash behind our vanity. Running the tile from floor to ceiling made our small, windowless bathroom feel much bigger too. We went for a vertical, stacked layout to give a modern vibe. Lastly, we recommend getting samples of both the glossy and matte finish so you can see the two side-by-side.
