These are excellent commercial grade LED bulbs which can replace traditional HID metal halide/high pressure sodium bulbs. Ballast must be bypassed, as these use just normal 120V line voltage. These burn only 10% of the power as traditional HID bulbs, yet they produce the same lumen output. Also as advertised, these feature a sliding switch which allows you to select the wattage and lumen output, a fantastic feature which allows for some customization. Another great feature of these bulbs is the fact that they can be used in many standard base light fixtures with an inexpensive (not included) E39 adapter. Great for garages and other fixtures which allow the extra space for the larger height and width of of these bulbs. I ordered the anvil May 27 2025. Wayfair said it shipped May 30. Never arrived. Called Customer Srvice (he couldnt have been nicer). Customer Service escalated the order. Turns out it was lost in transit. A replacement was organized and shipped June26 (now a month has passed). On July 10 the anvil arrives. The container had obviously been opened and poorly reclosed (screws were stripped out). The anvil is fine (I expected to need to dress the edges, etc.), but the anvil face is deeply scratched and shows rust. For some reason there was an IV Starter kit in the container)! Still trying to wrap my head around that one. I havent decided whether to send it back yet. I will take a closer look at the anvil face and see if it is salvageable. Do not recommend. Thomas C..
