The box this shelf- cabinet was shipped in was damaged on arrival. When opened we immediately saw that the damage had extended to the back piece of the unit, shattering the top right-side ear joint. The cabinet is pressed wood (basically paper). And due to poor quality control in manufacturing, there is also a malformed ear joint on one of the five shelves. Trying to fit the peg that’s required for strength into the shelf’s ear slot would shatter that ear. I had planned to place this cabinet in my master-bath between the sink and bathtub. But the quality of the item makes that use impossible. This is one of those many items with absolutely no product information listed on the website. I took a chance and lost. I have requested replacement parts to fix the above problems. But it’s not possible to “put lipstick on a pig.”
Although more padding at the corners of the box may have prevented the above-mentioned damage, I do commend the shipper on their choice of padding materials. Everything they used can be either recycled or is biodegradable. The same can be said about this cabinet. Which is a good thing since it’s a throw-away.. Jeri. Fort Worth, TX. Sun Jul 02 2023
