UPDATE: I contacted Casainc directly and they sent a new faucet head with no hassles. It’s still made from plastic so hoping this one lasts! ORIGINAL REVIEW: The faucet was easy to install and works fine mechanically, but the quality is poor. After only a year, the spray head looks cheap and worn out. Because it’s made of plastic, the gold finish has rubbed off from normal use, exposing a silvery base underneath. Now the head doesn’t match the rest of the faucet and is covered with blemishes. Nice piece, but it's really more of an institutional item and assumes that you are replacing an existing urinal or have framing in place to accommodate an install. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports. Many oil-rubbed bronze fixtures read very dark -- almost black -- but the Signature Hardware finish is definitely more of a definite warm brown, with pretty copper highlights, which is exactly what I'd searched high and low for and couldn't find forever. I really wish it would have fit in our main kitchen, however, our kitchen sink back splash is made different and it wouldn’t allow us to install it there. We did put it our first floor utility room, and we use it quite a bit! Very durable and the hands free makes it an absolute MUST in our home! I absolutely love this new home addition. I won’t credit myself as being a handy person but surprisingly was also able to install it myself. It was super easy to install. I took off one star only because I wish the pressure spray button would lock in place but it has to be held down manually. Otherwise, it’s a great feature that makes my otherwise mid pressure water clean at a higher pressure. The added rain spray feature is a plus for washing fruit and vegetables and actually is soft.. I got this on an open box deal so I didn't look too closely to set up etc. First, it's beautiful in the gold finish. It's solid and doesn't feel or look cheap. The sensor is on the side of the faucet which is smart (unlike the last faucet I had, that was in the front so it went off a lot) The talking Myrna, not for me. and I find that the sensor is not very sensitive, it takes a few times to get it to turn on/off. The bad- I was replacing an older battery operated faucet with sensor. I did not know that this new model was a plug in electric operation. That required installation of an outlet under my sink that I had to buddy off an outlet on the other side of my wall. Huge PIA! And it won't run manually b/c the water runs through the module box. It's done now but I wouldn't purchase this again if I had known. I also don't like that when you pull down the sprayer when the faucet is on *but water isn't running b/c I used the sensor) the water doesn't kick on like my old model. I still need to say water on or use the sensor to get the water to run. It looks pretty and I may end up just using the on/off handle like a manual version.. Heather. Middle River, MD.
