This was a little smaller than I anticipated (assumed it would be the same size as a similar medallion from the same brand, silly me) but it is a subdued, elegant touch to upgrade a fixture I still want to replace! The medallion is a nice add-on to the light fixtures. I used Rust-Oleum Universal spray paint, very easy and very fast! Our ceiling medallion collections are modeled after original historical patterns and designs. Our artisans then hand carve an original piece. Being hand carved each piece is richly detailed with deep relief, sharp lines, and a truly unique touch. That masterpiece is then used to create a mold master. Once the mold master is created we use our high-density urethane foam to form each medallion. The finished look is a beautifully detailed, lightweight, solid construction, focal piece. The resemblance to original plaster medallions is achieved only by using our high-density urethane and not vacuum-formed, "plastic" type medallions. Medallions are lightweight for easy installation and come primed and ready for paint. These are in stock and available for immediate shipment. The medallion arrived on time and was well-packaged, arriving in good condition. Overall, it looks nice and should work well for my project.
