I've been very impressed with the FOTILE 30" Slant Vent range hood. It’s extremely efficient at removing smoke and cooking odors, much more powerful than standard models. Despite its strong suction (up to 1100 CFM), it operates surprisingly quietly, which is a big plus in an open kitchen. The touchless control feature is also a standout. You can turn it on or off just by waving your hand, which is super convenient when your hands are messy from cooking. This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. We got a range hood for our outside grill it took time to install because my husband built a wood box to attach it to our roof.it works great because now when we use the grill all the smoke doesn’t stay in the area and we are able to eat sitting around the grill. Looks beautiful!! Love it!! Even on the quiet mode it is somewhat louder than expected. It really moves the smoke and smells out of the house though!! The noise from the fan doesn’t bother me as much as it may some others but for the price I did expect it to be more quiet but it has 2 powerful fans!!
