This would work well where you are trying to match rougher textured applications such as brick or stone. Unsanded caulk has a smoother finish. Common places to use this siliconized acrylic latex unsanded caulk is against backsplashes in the kitchen, along bathtub surrounds, windows and more. The unsanded tends to be easier to clean because of its smooth surface.

As a product itself, I actually have no complaints. Looks great, pushes “a lot” of air and has a neat way of dealing with grease. My main complaint is that after nearly 4 months, we still don’t have one to mount as we have now had 3 sent to us all damaged.
