A replacement (from TX) was ordered and arrived not boxed with corner protectors/top and bottom cardboard pieces completely damaged and unusable. A second replacement came (from TX) and arrived in even worse condition (both tops had screws missing and screw holes stripped so won't stay on with screws provided, cracks on all sides, dents, etc.). I asked for a return label so whomever can inspect and see how badly damaged they are coming from TX. Third replacement sent from New Jersey or maybe Virginia- I cannot remember. Arrived in perfect condition like the first did. Customer service could not be better, but I'd call to order this piece with customer service and beg that it comes NOT from Texas. The file drawers accept both letter and legal filing while the box drawers keep supplies handy. All drawers lock and have silver colored curved drawer pulls. The interior of the desk is spacious, allowing plenty of room to move between surfaces. The desktop is constructed of a thermal fused melamine laminate tabletop that is 1-inch thick and finished with a black T-Mold edge band. This tabletop is double-sided, simply pick the side you like and install the base on the other. Rounded corners make the desk safer for everyone. Self tapping wood screws and a placement template are included. Laminates are scratch, stain and scald resistant and wipe clean easily.
