The blanket is big puffy soft blanket. To thick for summer even with an AC on. I am unsure if i can wash this in my regular washer it is king size deffinitly hang dry this blanket. i love this blanket though can br striped one side and solid colored the other side durable.. Great solid duvet cover with shams. Purchased for teen boy. Did not smell any worse than a set of super expensive organic bamboo sheets we received the same day. They are in fact blue, just a very dark blue/grey but mostly blue (headboard of bed is dark grey for comparison). Would recommend to double-wash them on arrival since I did notice dryer sheet was light blue after drying. Fits an actual queen duvet perfectly (not a full or full/queen). Very happy!. Laura. US.
