I love this gazebo! Unfortunately my previous Wayfair gazebo collapsed due to the tremendous amount of snow and ice we received early in January. I should have removed the canopy, but have not been removing it in past years. Id simply go out with a long push broom and gently lift up each section to allow the snow to fall off. This storm was different. Lesson learned. Unfortunately, its tough to buy a canopy that includes the ribbing that holds it together and atop the frame. Wayfairs customer service department used the replacement canopy I had purchased then returned and applied it as a credit to my account. I then quickly found an open box gazebo, that in my opinion is of better quality. I was eager to get it up, despite the windy weather here in Quakertown PA, but its up and anchored to my concrete patio acquiring plants, comfy chairs and tables, garden decor, etc. (mostly everything purchased at Wayfair, of course)!. Have it up for the second season. Good quality but should be made stronger where poles are attached. Had to put gorilla tape over the tares. update - this past summer it tore so much it has to be replaced. Someone should design these with stronger fabric. Update july 2024. This has worked well for us. Way to out together and produces a great compost. One thing to note is that the compost can rest on the bottom ledge inside which can make it difficult to open the doors. This canopy seemed like it was about a quarter inch too small and all the dimensions. Additionally the top section of the canopy ripped in a corner when I tried to pull it from the other side because it was so tight. I was able to squeeze the main canopy on the pergola base, but i couldn't get the long metal bars to squeeze into the two pockets on the short sides. I tried again the next day to pull the canvas over the side metal bars and I was successful after the fabric had stretched itself for a day, but the fabric is now straining in some places. While this will work, it takes some hand strength and patience, And maybe one busted corner. I really love this gazebo! It was easy to assemble for one person and took about 1.5 hrs. I used it as a chicken coop run extension for hot days when I’m at work. I lined the sides with logs to deter predators. They used it for the first time today in 80 degree weather and it kept them nice and cool with plenty of ventilation, which gave me piece of mind. It’s not predator proof, but can be fortified with pool fence panels and more. I love the look of the gazebo and it looks professional for what it is. The directions were not bad, but a few sections are not intuitive. I love the locking pole that raises it like other Eagle Peak products, as it’s super easy. Overall, thumbs up. They worked about 5 hours every and the last day was just getting the fit on the patio and drilling the holes into the concrete to get it set and then hanging the screens and curtains. They did a great job and my husband followed the instructions fairly easy, as he was in construction and used to reading drawings, so it wasn't hard for him. Everything went together as it should have. I think one screw hole was out of alignment, so he made a new one. Other than that he had no problems putting it together. We love the size of it, its double of what one gazebo normally is. Gives us plenty of space for furniture and a fire table, and still room to add an eating table which I have not purchased yet. We love its wind resistance too. We get some crazy winds in the desert, sometimes 60+ mph, and we've since had just a couple days like that, and we have found it to hold up just great! You do hear a little rattle with that kind of wind, but not much. Its solidly in the ground and the parts are solid, holding together well. Can't beat this gazebo for its sturdiness and beauty. Function is awesome and I know in the summer we'll be able to close the curtains when the sun starts beating in any direction, and screens if the flies show up while eating.
