This map was published two years after Santa Fe was given rail access via a branch line to Lamy, New Mexico, some eighteen miles to the South.This is an authentic piece of American cartographical history that captures this jewel of the Southwest in a period of significant economic, cultural, and political transformation, and the nation neared the turn of the twentieth century.
