This is exactly what I needed. Two men put it together for me and it went together quickly. We are very to have a play area for our dog, a great space to work on training too since we live in the woods and fencing would be cost prohibitive. I love the cover since we live in the Pacific Northwest and rain is often in the forecast. We opted to put artificial grass down to prevent a muddy mess. The reason I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because the entire kennel once assembled is actually light, the three of us could lift it easily to move it. The framework is seems sturdy but my helper’s recognized right away that with the winds where I live once the canopy is on it could, and probably would, become airborne, the pegs that come with it may be sufficient for some places but not here. They came up with a solution of 4 large landscaping boulders wired to the frame so it looks good and can still be hosed or blown out easily. I am hopeful that this will give us years of fun.. Overall, I’m satisfied with this dog house. I honestly expected the inside to be a little bigger, but it still provides enough room for my two dogs (80 lb and 70 lb) to lie down comfortably. They primarily stay outside, and they mainly use it when they want a quiet place to rest or a little space from each other. Assembly was straightforward and fairly easy. The only downside was the instruction manual—I didn’t find it very helpful. In my opinion, the dog house is simple enough that it can be assembled without relying much on the instructions. This is a great carrier -- well made and sturdy, the weather/water proof bottom to the pack is a nice feature for hiking and park days. It fits my 18 lb corgi well!
